Hey all, Something else comes to mind here. Judgement. We sit in our homes, churches, schools and communities and place judgements and word curses on our leaders, especially our president. We don't approve of this or that and we start to speak things over them. We should be praying for them and asking God to give them all they need to operate in the office he has appointed them. We should be asking for good judgement in all circumstances and wisdom to do what is wright in the most difficult situations. We should be praying that they are saved and have knowledge of the Lord their God and be praying for their safety and that of their families. We should be speaking good things over them. Do I think everything this president has done is right, no I don't, but I do not condemn the man for something I do not understand or speak word curses over him and them complain when I do not agree with something he said or did that I have no real understanding of. We as a nation need to stand behind our leaders and be an example to them and others. Love in Jesus, Connie

Hi Freeprincess, These were my thoughts as I read the posts on this thread. First and foremost....I am so sorry you are going through this right now. Let me add this one thing to all these other comments. First off you are the beloved of the Lord and the least of us is the first in the kingdom of heaven. In other words.....it does not matter if we have not been with the Lord as long as someone else or if we are not at the same spiritual maturity as another. God uses us anyway. He is the assigner of the gifts. He has given you yours and you are using it. If they do not see the gift it is their loss so to speak. The Lord says in the new testament when he sends out the disciples; if you go to a mans home and they bless you, stay and bless them but if they reject you, shake the dust from your sandals and go on your way. In other words bless those who bless you but leave behind those who refuse your blessings. I pray this is an encouragement to you! Love in Jesus, Connie

Ya know HF, I so understand what you are talking about. My family is much the same way. I had to separate myself from them. They are so removed from the Lord and his ways that I can't be around them for long. I finally just cried out to the Lord and he reminds me that he is my brother, sister, mother and my father. That is enough for me! I need only rely on him as my family. Man will disappoint me but the Lord will never do that. Hang in there girl...let the Lord have it. Love in Jesus, Connie
