Thank you Dove! I've been in bed since I got off of work. I don't have the sore throat anymore and I'm not feeling feverish anymore. I'm still a little achy but all is well! Thank all of you for your prayers!

Christa, I agree with you but there are men out there with ALL that you have said and STILL not husband material. Of course it is true though and those characteristics are a start. Right now, my main concern is if he's a true man of God. One who loves God. Right now, I'm in a place of trusting God for my husband. Because as it turns out, my picks are NOT the ones and have only caused heartache and pain.

Yea. Back in 2005, I was looking for a church in the city I live in because I was taking a 30-45 minute road trip every Sunday to go to the church I had been in like forever! I prayed about it and told God to plant me in the church He wanted me to be in. I visited a few church's. Nothing was wrong with them. I actually enjoyed the preaching and absolutely fell in love with the pastors and the congregations immediately. I still visit them when I have time and we're not doing anything at our church. I visited the church I belong to now one night and as soon as I walked in the door, my heart felt like it was at home. I'm still there! So I TOTALLY agree with the above about God giving you peace in knowing you're in the right place!

I'm gonna tell you what Cholette told me... If you want to know what God is doing in your life...watch the devil. She told me that the very area God is working on in your life is the area the enemy will bring distractions in! Be blessed and know that God is STILL in control!

OOOOOOOOooooooooh, Honey, YES! And "I" am one of them. There are two threads that I know of posted on this site just in the last month or so about distractions and "I" posted one of them! The enemy is really busy because he knows his time is short!!!!!!!

You have taken the first step and that step is recognizing WHAT this truly is...an ATTACK!!!!!!!!!! I agree with Jubilee4me. It's time to start casting those thoughts down and bringing them under subjection of the Holy Ghost! The enemy has been on a rampage lately with distractions and this man is a distraction. Raye, The only advice I can give you about "knowing" if this man is your husband is to do what I did. I humbly went to God and was honest with Him about my feelings towards this man. I then asked Him to confirm or correct if he was the man He chose for me to be my husband. He answered me quickly. I must say you have to REALLY want Him to answer because it may not be what you want to hear. In my case, it wasn't what I wanted to hear but what could I do...I asked, right?!

Hallelujah!!!!!!! God gave me Psalms 91 in a dream a couple of months ago. I've been seeing it EVERYWHERE since then. Praise God for His word!!!!!!!!!!!
