Tiddly Winks

Good morning everyone, it's now Tuesday and outside my window the clouds have rolled in. I can't say I am sad about it, as I have been having serious issues with allergies. The pollen, which usually comes en masse in May or June has wallopped me big time. I missed choir rehearsal last night because my voice was messed up from being congested. Not fun. On the lighter side of things, I became friends on facebook with my favorite actor. I met him some years ago and send a FR to him thinking, he's not going to accept it, but close to midnight last night, he did and I was sooo happy. I guess I will have to post those pictures of him and me on my facebook, when it comes up. Oh yeah, and another bit of great news, last night I found out I won a blessing contest in Happy Pets. It is the first time ever that I won a contest like that. So, for a prize I am getting a really great glowing big cat. Those who play Happy Pets will know what I mean. At any rate, this day is starting out rather nice. How are things shaping up with all of you?

I love this item, not because of the potions, but because it would look so great in Tiddly Winks' refurbished lab. I have to share the lab with all of you, because I redid it, and science totally rocks. Would love to have an excuse to buy this cool item, but can't, no funds, and trying to explain why I spent 20 something coins on a cool looking table would make the hubby's eyes roll. Even though he is a scientist too.... He's even go a lab for Xavier. Does anyone here have one that I can visit and gawk at?

I did that, but the group automatically rechecked the box. That's why I told the moderator that I wasn't happy with it and considered quitting.

I have most people on a games list, that is the people I play PS or Petville or Happy Pets with. I have had way too many people using the chat function to beg for stuff, which I won't do. I figured that if someone really wanted to talk to me, then they could PM and I could decide when or if I am available to chat. I have actaully made chat appointments with people. With the facebook group thing (which is really what bugs me) there are 1. a group of about 70 or so members on it, most of which are complete strangers to me, and 2. about seven or eight that are active chatters. I contacted the moderator of this group about it and she told me that she is looking into it. I hope that she will find an answer to it. She doesn't want to lose me as a member because of a facebook issue, but I think it's the settings of that group, which need fixing. It's a rather nice group, so I hope that she will be able to resolve this. I had one person who would do that (message me to chat and talk me to death) and for my sanity, I finally blocked her from chatting with me. I decided this around the time my husband lost his job, and I simply have other worries. It's sad to be 'friends' with someone who only spoke of their problems and never bothered to ask a simple 'how are you?'. But, that's all resolved now...at least I think so.

Here's the deal. I am not big into live chats unless I know someone. I can chat with folks here on the facebook chat (when the thing actually works halfway decently). I hate chatting with people I don't know, and specifically, I hate chatting in groups of people I don't know. I just feel violated and uncomfortable when I get into groups on Facebook where I am constantly bugged by the live chat window. I like chatting with people I'm close friends with. For example, I keep the chat window open specifically for people like Kokonee, who I know in real life. Otherwise, I am not really into it. Call me abnormal, but that's the way I am. I hate, no I loathe groups that will not let people change the settings to block the chat. I am tired of having to close the chat window, because it's not my thing...and then when I do close it, then the bloody thing should stay closed. Right? Wrong. Every time I go into Facebook, then a group that I really like being a part of automatically opens the chat window. I have tried blocking the chat window on their page, but it will not stay blocked, in fact, five seconds later, I go back to check to make sure it's still blocked and it's not. I finally went to my page, and could only find the chat window for individual friends, but not for groups. So, I wrote the moderator of the group, and am waiting for an answer. I guess I will ultimately have to delete the group if she doesn't respond. My reason, I'm not really into chatting. Why can't people understand that? Does it make me a sociological hermit? I don't know, but it's really annoying.

You pick a spot for the detector to scan in, and it will tell you if there is a suspected treasure. I personally hate the changes, and would probably not buy the detector if faced with the decision now. It's not worth the money anymore.

The digging detector is a cash shop item that gives a clue once per digging session as to where treasure can be found. The changes sound confusing to me, but then again, it seems normal that PF changes things around to suit them.

yep, it's been acting weird all week. Maybe the shops are too full or something. BUt, I have been getting it too, and 'save failed' messags like crazy. Hope tomorrow's update will get the bugs out.

migraines....ugh. I get those a lot, especially when the weather changes. We have a saying here 'April mach was es will'...literally 'April does as it wants'....too true.

Hope everyone is doing well. Just got up and went into PS to find that last perfume bottle. When I get that done, then I will do some sewing for tonight's class. I am working on a dress that I will wear for my 40th birthday party (yes is a little bit late, but November is a horrid time to have a party). I also have a story to work on. Other than that, we will be getting ready to take a day trip tomorrow, so I will be gone all day tomorrow. Hope everyone has a lovely day. How is yours shaping up?

oh you guys, I love ya, that's why I do what I do. There's no reason to feel sad so no more of those faces.

I don't know how true this is, but you all may need to hold off of blessing people's baskets for a time. It is rumoured that the blessings add more time to the baskets as opposed to deduct it. I haven't really looked into it and don't really know, but this is a heads up, just in case there is some validity to it. I'll post back if I find out one way or the other. In the meantime I have posted 'don't bless' in my nursery. I don't get a ton of blessings so I'm not worried about it, but those who do a lot of breedings may wonder about it. I haven't the time today to research it, so if anyone does see something with glitches, then it may be a good idea to post them here so that other players will know.
