So Sad about the Japanese Princess Outfit
Tiddly Winks replied to Eris Constance's topic in Pet Society Trading & Chat
I'm in a dilemma with this. This outfit is one of the first I've seen in a long while that I really liked. Of course, I am appalled by the price, so I am asking myself if I should buy it. I hate this sort of dilemma, but I don't think outright boycotting it will make much of a difference as there will always be some people who simply buy everything regardless of the price. I really don't know what to do. I saved some CCs to get it, but now I know that if I do, I'll feel guilty about it. I even mentioned this to my husband last night, and he said 'you gotta follow your heart'. Big help there...but can't blame a guy for trying. -

Just like the topic says. Tomorrow (Wednesday, September 15) at 10-11 Pacific standard time, Crowdstar is having a Fan appreciation hour and will be giving away mystery pet baskets for free. These are normally priced at 24 credits. So, it's a good idea to log into Happy Pets and claim your free pet. This time zone is 7 hours behind GMT, so 10-11 PST is (I believe) between 5-6 in the afternoon GMT. In my time zone CET, it will hapen between 7-8 in the evening. Don't miss out.

So Sad about the Japanese Princess Outfit

I know the outfit is totally beautiful, but 24CCs is outrageous. I am contemplating whether it is worth it. I may end up getting it, since I haven't bought anything (aside from the mat) in awhile. Just trying to decide if I really want/need it. Hard call. I don't support such a high price for something like this. -
well, it's the start of another week. I am feeling pretty okay for the most part. We had to cook lunch yesterday at the airport where Sven is a hobby pilot, and I was so glad when it was over. I got home and was totally exhausted. Today, I am doing the laundry and trying to decide what to do this afternoon. Tonight we have choir rehearsal. We have a performance on the 26th, which is coming up rather quickly. It would seem that I really need to write down everything because my calendar is starting to fill up. Hope everyone has a lovely day.

ksimple: Please do not hijack someone else's thread. If you are wanting to trade or are looking for something specific, start a new thread in the appropriate place. Also, we generally tell people that if they trade here, that they keep the trade public or use a safe trade referee to help prevent people from getting scammed. Thanks.

Yes, they are kids books, but so is Twilight. In fact, give what I read of it, I think that Twilight mostly appeals to teenage girls. That's the sense that I really got when I read it, whereas Harry Potter appeals to both boys and girls. I guess me having been a tomboy of sorts during my youth, I tend to lean towards the adventuresome aspects of Harry Potter just because. I will say straight up that I did give both series of books a fair chance though. Oh well, I digressed a little. I read through all of Harry Potter and loved it, my favortite ones being 3 and 6. I didn't like 4 and 5 as much, as they were long and sort of drawn out. I didn't like the endless camping trip in book seven, but I loved the overall feel of the book, and also saw elements of spirituality in it, which, of course, was very nice. If you ask me which movies were the best, I would say I love the first three, and six. Number four didn't appeal at all, perhaps because of my feelings about the book. But, four was filmed in a monastery not a castle, and so instead of enjoying the movie, I was studying the archetechture. (It was during that time I was writing my novel, The Vows of Silence', which might explain that bit).
