  1. I think Smorkle looks cute in the new outfit. Here's Tiddly Winks in hers. She rather likes it.
  2. more cats in the trader, they are mostly random offspring with no code. Tasha is for Kokonee, but the other two with codes are available if you want them. Just PM me.
  3. I think I'm going to get it. I really wasn't sure, but I love the rose pink and black together and will regret it if I don't so I'm biting the bullet tomorrow and getting one.
  4. That's a great idea, Nancy. I think I will send Kasi one too.
  5. I sent one, but those are items that people can generally do with more than one.
  6. I just finished reading Q in Law by Peter David. I love that book.
  7. you can get fluffies with normal cats. I have tried it and it worked.
  8. Oh wow, so glad. That's fantastic news.
  9. Tiddly winks has decided to go with a simple premise this week.
  10. Well, it wasn't all great, but the rehearsal was a great ending to a ho hum day.
  11. I'm in a dilemma with this. This outfit is one of the first I've seen in a long while that I really liked. Of course, I am appalled by the price, so I am asking myself if I should buy it. I hate this sort of dilemma, but I don't think outright boycotting it will make much of a difference as there will always be some people who simply buy everything regardless of the price. I really don't know what to do. I saved some CCs to get it, but now I know that if I do, I'll feel guilty about it. I even mentioned this to my husband last night, and he said 'you gotta follow your heart'. Big help there...but can't blame a guy for trying.
  12. NO problem, I only know this because Kokonee is in PST amd we visited her last year.
  13. Just like the topic says. Tomorrow (Wednesday, September 15) at 10-11 Pacific standard time, Crowdstar is having a Fan appreciation hour and will be giving away mystery pet baskets for free. These are normally priced at 24 credits. So, it's a good idea to log into Happy Pets and claim your free pet. This time zone is 7 hours behind GMT, so 10-11 PST is (I believe) between 5-6 in the afternoon GMT. In my time zone CET, it will hapen between 7-8 in the evening. Don't miss out.
  14. I have a sparkling arctic horse up for grabs. I also just added some more random eye cats in the trader. One (female with greenish eyes) is bigger than normal.
  15. We just had the best choir rehearsal ever. It was so much fun and we laughed more than should have been allowable. It was great.
  16. They started selling the Christmas stollen here and Sven just had to have some with Marzipan.
  17. I know the outfit is totally beautiful, but 24CCs is outrageous. I am contemplating whether it is worth it. I may end up getting it, since I haven't bought anything (aside from the mat) in awhile. Just trying to decide if I really want/need it. Hard call. I don't support such a high price for something like this.
  18. well, it's the start of another week. I am feeling pretty okay for the most part. We had to cook lunch yesterday at the airport where Sven is a hobby pilot, and I was so glad when it was over. I got home and was totally exhausted. Today, I am doing the laundry and trying to decide what to do this afternoon. Tonight we have choir rehearsal. We have a performance on the 26th, which is coming up rather quickly. It would seem that I really need to write down everything because my calendar is starting to fill up. Hope everyone has a lovely day.
  19. ksimple: Please do not hijack someone else's thread. If you are wanting to trade or are looking for something specific, start a new thread in the appropriate place. Also, we generally tell people that if they trade here, that they keep the trade public or use a safe trade referee to help prevent people from getting scammed. Thanks.
  20. Yes, they are kids books, but so is Twilight. In fact, give what I read of it, I think that Twilight mostly appeals to teenage girls. That's the sense that I really got when I read it, whereas Harry Potter appeals to both boys and girls. I guess me having been a tomboy of sorts during my youth, I tend to lean towards the adventuresome aspects of Harry Potter just because. I will say straight up that I did give both series of books a fair chance though. Oh well, I digressed a little. I read through all of Harry Potter and loved it, my favortite ones being 3 and 6. I didn't like 4 and 5 as much, as they were long and sort of drawn out. I didn't like the endless camping trip in book seven, but I loved the overall feel of the book, and also saw elements of spirituality in it, which, of course, was very nice. If you ask me which movies were the best, I would say I love the first three, and six. Number four didn't appeal at all, perhaps because of my feelings about the book. But, four was filmed in a monastery not a castle, and so instead of enjoying the movie, I was studying the archetechture. (It was during that time I was writing my novel, The Vows of Silence', which might explain that bit).
  21. Glad you got them for Rosie and Kasi, I got mine too. Cute, thanks for the heads up.
