  1. Soo umm yeah! was cheap enough, the list of new stuff is ridiculous!! New 4-2 stainless exhaust EBC green pads all round new tyres front/rear genuine yamaha crash bars higher tinted screen ( Flip up ) new filters new iridium plugs new top box and rack new chain and sprockets polished footpegs/hangers oh and 8,000 miles on the clock, 1999 :P
  2. worse bike? bandit.... sorry but i loved it as it was my first bike, but hated it for a very good reason...
  3. damn... there goes my plan of getting an MT-03.. think i'll stick with my 3 toys then rofl!
  4. how did you find the MT03? apart from the obvious vibrations? also are you from northampton or local? ( Wollaston Bikes is the hint )
  5. tbf, i've always ran a bike in doing short trips and not holding revs at any range... letting the engine rev to say 5/6k and letting the engine brake on its own, resting, fast accelerate, let rev drops without touching the clutch etc.... its helps the rings to seal if there given a bit of force, going gentle on a new engine can actually be bad as its not given enough force to seal the rings... Why do you think they show you new bikes and give them stick in the show rooms in short bursts?
  6. as long as 2 years seems, it does go pretty quickly
  7. looking good! wont be long till its all together aye
  8. shit :| never something you want to hear, or even see happen
  9. soz guys, at me misses over near stratford so wont be able to make it! maybe another day aye?
  10. xjr 400! at the time i couldn't afford £15/£16 on fuel every day sold it to buy something less tuned and more economical
  11. started off further round, moved to luffield on the last race =]
  12. just remember dave! pics when you get it!!!!
  13. you really need to get help with your exhaust fettish Dude Help? sod the help!! need more exhausts ahaha nice one dave!!
  14. oo very nice!! you only live once! oh dont go for the yoshi optional exhausts, they ent that nice sounding >< the BOS ones are ( that are on the one you tried? )
  15. nice bikes ent they!! seem faster than the busa but there not ( partly due to no fairing ) a tad lighter than the busa aswell and the riding possition is perfect lol so when ya getting one? :P
  16. Yes, same engine but uses different inlet/exhaust system to the busa, which lowers the power slightly ( 181BHP from the bking )
  17. tbf if you liked the power and weight of the busa, but not the position, you will love the B-king. The bars are higher so more like your bandit in that respect, but the pegs are back a tad more so you got the more sporty riding position but still with high bars! Power is supposedly a little less due to being in a naked bike but still enough to go from 0-*SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT*
  18. there was another one with a featherbed frame, 4 - 1 undertail exhaust in bare metal finish.. cant remember if it was on CF or OSS though. *Edit* Found it.. GS550 though, looks nice, might be able to steal some idea's from this aswell http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=25628.0
  19. gaz mate, have a peak at this one http://www.sgnetwork.co.uk/pages/posts/anatomy-of-a-cafe-racer-a-honda-cb750-undertaking-14.php
  20. only other thing to try mate is another router :S a lot of the companies do try and fob you off and say its your end and not there ( like i said on my last post, they tend to say its you not them ) if ya need a hand mate, give me a shout and i can bring a couple of different routers round to try?
  21. you might be able to swap the stuff from the mk1 naked SV650 onto the S which would make it a cheaper option!
