    boxer engines are terrible for corrosion, I do work for a bike trader and I have refused to do them now, paint quality is shite on bmw bikes now.

    plenty people use them dave, not for me though as an axle nut is usually around 100n torque, I would fit a stainless one though.

    as it was sunny I went for a quick ride this afternoon, got about 10 miles from home when in the direction I was heading the sky went black and I could see the sheets of rain coming down in the distance feck...quick U-turn and headed back home at a rate of knots, just got the bike in the garage when it started thundering and the rain stotting off the ground, BASTARD..... I was enjoying that. to make it worse I have to go to York to set my nieces caravan and awning up tomorrow so not much chance of getting the bike out then.

    deffo get it set up on the dyno matt it will be a different bike. I had a audi a4 petrol in for work the other week I had to deliver it when finished 2.0 litre fuel injected turbo fecking flat as a fart had to rev the tits of it to make it go apparently they are all the same all down to emisions and the drive for better mileage personally I can't see the point if you got to rev the feck out of em. bike looks like a good bit of fun

    lightweights!!!! when I got back I cleaned the bike did some shopping and had the food cooking on the barbi when the missus got in from work.
