1. As long as it's warm and dry on Monday Would like to get out on the bike. Should be fully recovered then (Had a dose of flu but seem to be getting over it. Only real problem at the minute is I sound like Barry white with a sore throat!?! )
2. Ouch!! Hopefully he's fine and makes a quick recovery
3. Looks good If it looks that good, can't sound that bad can it???
4. Some good pics there. As previously said, a difficult month. For me it was between Dick and Stue. Stue edging it by a whisker.
5. Enough said with all the above
6. Good pics mate. Would be nice for a "forum ride out", but I think it's a bit far!?!?!
7. Again, valid point. Looks like things are starting to change, some good news is starting to come through, so hopefully everything will start to pick up again.
8. I know mate. It's strange but the smaller bikes don't seem to be selling. Wonder it that's as a result of all the test changes and the longer test? Fewer people passing through it?
9. ...but neither the rider or the exhaust weigh very much on mine...
10. Re think i'm gonna enjoy myself Try this one
Hell of an interview. No wonder you passed
11. Looks nice mate Got it about the right time, weather is looking good
12. But as you rightly say, the brit way is to moan and whinge, but then pay up and carry on. I just *really* can't believe the panic buying - *if* there is going to be a strike we get 7 days notice and it's going to go on for what, four whole days? If all this is a result of some minister saying it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a can or two of fuel spare can you imagine if something serious kicked off? No wonder the general public wouldn't be informed straight away.....
People seem to have lost the ability to think for themselves They just follow what is said without thinking about what they're doing. The great British public
13. Which is why I get other people to do it
14. Sounds like perfect therapy I take the bike to work on ocassion, but office work so need shirt and tie. Shirt doesn't look after 20m under a jacket!?!?!
15. Hoping to get there one year, but maybe not for a while yet
16. Good to hear mate. Enjoy the RS6 - cracking drive
17. Rucksack and bungee cords are all you need for a weekend away and an exciting ride Going to get some of the "soft" panniers for next time I'm away
18. A friend is sellling their Bandit 600. Picture For sale Bandit 600 showroom condition.. Only 10k dry miles on the clock... £2100 It's also a lady rider rather than some "idiotic" male. It's a K1 so will be minimum 2001 or so, but waiting to hear what year it actually is. If anyone is interested, or knows someone who may be, let me know. Thanks
19. I'm with Stue on this one . It's something we all do, but we moderate our language to the surrounding and company we're in. Yes it all escapes us at times, but not in "general" conversation. Does it?
20. Something I keep meaning to do but have put off so far. My Dad did it a few years ago and heartily recommends it . The other option is an "assessed" ride with the local Police. I know Cleveland Police do them, and they're free. It consists of a morning out being followed by a bike cop. You stop at certain points and he tells you what he thinks. To me they were fine and as said above, if it helps keep you fresh on the bike, is it a problem?
