  1. I see a lot changes round here in a few days Can't Dave and Day101 swap clothing pages on private chat
  2. Enjoy the trip and will catch you when you get back. Couldn't you go on the bike and claim travel expenses? All those autobahns waiting to be ridden

welcome Enjoy the banter, it's all good fun on here. Where you from?
  4. Glad it's working out for you and you're making progress. Hopefully catch you in November
  5. Glad he's okay. I agree with all above. Wishes to him mate for a speedy recovery and a hope he doesn't do it again
  6. yeah still a bit sore matey but im still trying to carry on as it would do my head in if i just stopped work on it, cheers dick! I thought you might mate, If you are gonna do stuff, try wrapping tissue around your finger and then insulating tape. It will make it stiff but will stop you bending it and keep it clean, the tissue will allow you to remove the tape easily after working. Gaz That sounds like the voice of experience. Bike looks good, congrats on the progress so far and keep the pics coming Hope the finger heals quickly.
  7. Ronnie, looks like you're taking in some good protein there and the pyramid sets seem to be working. Building some good bulk Keep an eye on the routine though. Too much bulk and you'll need bigger bikes
  8. For those that don't know, I'm now into the fourth year of my five year part-time degree course. I'm working toward a BSc in Commercial Quantity Surveying, basically the bean counter on a construction site I have to start working on my dissertation this year, so given I have to do something related to the construction industry, does anyone on here work in that area? Don't need to know in what capacity you work in, just whether you do. It's going to be so I can send people a questionnaire (one I will be creating), or possibly look for feedback and any thoughts people may have. I know, could be difficult on this forum It probably won't be until next year, but thought I'd try and make a start now. The title of my dissertation is going to be, "Are natural disasters good for the construction industry?".
  9. Good luck with this one. Would have come down, but holidays in short supply at the moment . Hope the weather stays good and everyone enjoys the ride out.
  10. Davehutch Mrsstue11 Stue11 Day101 Itchy Hawki Robbie Delboy Bluelad Yankeedoodle NFX Pinky I think that's eveyone. Again, apologies if I've missed anyone, or got the name wrong. Memory definitely starts to go at my age Hope to meet a few more in November
  11. As has been said above, work, family and friends can be a big draw on time. I'm at work, got a 3yr old daughter then seeing the grandkids (I have two now despite only being 21!?! ) and parents plus friends, time gets very short. Like most I look on when I can and contribute where possible. As Smilinjack said, it can be quiet at times. As long someone's posting the Forum continues. A toast to many more years
  12. Very nice I'm assuming it complies with all the noise regs And if you do swap, I'll have it
  13. Have to agree. One of the few that could actually rock a stadium with the songs he sang.
  14. Bike starting to look good! Seat unit looks interesting, can't wait to see it on the completed bike. Keep the pics coming. For us "ham-fisted ones" it's interesting to read and watch
  15. Not bad progress so far. Looks like you'll have it back on the road in no time. I'm sure you your lad will enjoy it
  16. Daves upstairs Tell you what, he moves quick for an "older" guy
  17. Maybe we should all turn up at Chads one day? With the money he saves by not having to come and meet everyone he can cook us all a bacon bun. Or at least his Mam will be able to I'll be the second tent in the garden (I think Dave's already laid the foundation for his )
  18. Most people will have already seen these, but thought for those that haven't: Two Ronnies Four Candles Mis-pronunciation Hieroglyphics Mastermind Jasper Carrott Insurance Claims Robin Williams Live at the Met
  19. Glad to hear she's okay Sounds like it may be time for the bike to "take a walk".
  20. Dave isn't doing Forum thongs! I could have sworn he was taking "special orders" for those? Apparently Day101 has ordered 3 His was hand made by Dave and free
  21. Very true, but give the lad credit for the entrepreneurial spirit (I think that's how you spell it ). Mind you, if I was him I'd be selling a nights camping in his front garden, just in case
