Not sure about "investment" but I have an '86 GSXR-1100G (1st big bore GSXR) I'm putting together and a 1980 GSX1100ET that I won't part with. Busa's ARE getting collectable, folk look for the 99 model Copper/bronze mainly as it was the pretty version of the 1st of the Busa legend. Mate sold his for more than my better tidier 04. -
One not so old Suzuki I am after is an RG250 (not the later more popular RGV) always wanted to build a YAMMAGAMMA with a 350LC / YPVS motor.

I had a "super six" in my early days. At the time it was a big deal to have a 6 speed box, didn't know another rider that had one then. Biggest novelty for me was the "fuel guage" The tank had tubes attached at top and bottom on the left behind the fork joined by a clear tube. Level in the tube was your fuel guage! In my youth I thought this was amazing.... LOL

Winter ? Dec 1st is the first day of Summer here. Had a few showers but wasn't too hot. Managed to get 1038k's (640 miles?) in this weekend. Had a run up the coast with a few mates. Even got a bit of dirt-roading in... -

Been a few times. Really more into my 70's/80's/90's jap bikes but it still fascinated me. Old Meridan 4 cylinder Triumph, Heaps of Norton Rotarys, The last bike Sheene ever won on, heaps of real gems and well worth a look. -

TRE's are not designed to give horsepower. They are there to stop the bike backing the ignition off in certain gears and losing it. Sometimes they don't want you to have a 160hp 1st gear. Some modern superbikes use it to restrict top gear or the top two. It may even be done to back off certain gears to get past immisions tests. a TRE only removes possible restrictions, it shouldn't find any ponys that the bike hasn't already got. -
Unless your buying something real clever that can correct individual signals for individual gears, and not change the neutral signal etc, The most a TRE should cost is about 20p I've done a few, on a Gen1 Busa its a 6.8ohm resister from Tandy. Busa doesn't give much difference but does remove restrictions. No bad effects. Not popular with GSX14's. many owners dislike them. Not needed on B-Kings. The smart ECU can be re-set as unrestricted. Biggest mistake is confusing them with ignition advancers. One permanently moves every gears signal, a cheap / crude TRE changes signals to all be the same. Neither are ideal.

I could live with the looks, but not the odd ball tyre sizes and cruiser riding position. They are another V-Max, V-Rod, 109 "muscle cruiser" and a step away from even the Kings not so sporty geometry. There's one in Brisbane badged up in Hells Angel colours / Death Head decals etc. -

Marquez was a little wide leaving pit lane, but from memory he didn't cross the solid line? Lorenzo admitted he was off the racing line a bit too. I'd be happy to see Lorenzo win, I don't question Marquez's ability and wouldn't be surprised to see him dominate a few seasons, so it may be Lorenzo's last chance for a while. Marquez IS amazing and now with a season under his belt I think he'll just get better. I make no secret I'm a Rossi then Lorenzo fan, but they may have had their day! -
Definatly not the one Patrik / other rider uses on the Ghost Rider clips. The GR one has a modified frame, that's a normal Gen1 Busa frame and the GR one wasn't built by Sean Mills. Got 5 mates here with turbo Busa's, Bloody impressive. The petrol-heads weapon of choice! -
You need a bigger garage. Shame we haven't got a builder on here.... -

We had a bike impounded on a ride. Guy was on a ban for riding whilst banned! and carried on with the same "known" bike. Only arrested for an hour but they still have the bike. Some people. -

That was only my opinion. I just saw him getting mobbed by bikes, looks like one braked hard infront for no reason other than intimidating him. Guy had a child with him and panicked when he found himself surrounded by a lynch mob. Just my view on it. -
VERY lucky he didn't get the Armco! Bit of road is close to my home and a regular ride. The guy is fine and was posting on Facebook last night. Personally I'd be hoping the insurance doesn't watch the first few minutes of the clip, but I think the lad only has 3rd party cover. Common here. Young riders, big sports bikes.

Bikers behaving like arse holes. The guy in front then brake-checked the Rangie. I saw it as a genuine accident originaly on the guys part that was caused by the idiots around him. It then snowballed due to the mob mentality and having a 5 year old in the car. There are plenty of clips of similar "group rides" in the US and it comes as no surprise this happened. In the US, a good lawyer and he'll walk free. -

My first questions when looking at a camera for the bike.... How small is the SD card ? How easy is it to remove ? Is it dangerous to swallow one ?
