  1. buy one to prove it then. sand it flat ahpong, 1)strip paint then primer 2)cannot (what i mean is the grey primer is same with the chevy ss in the movie color) 3)indsutrial color code Thanks Mr.Cham. BTW, Mr. Danoneism, nice built. I think the hood can be ignored. I dun think u can cut out the hood w/o damaging the car at this stae now..
  2. Bro few questions here: 1. Use primer after paint? Or strip the paint and respray with gray primer only? 2. Can use grey primer to 'flatten' any gloss color? 3. The color code, is it Mr.Hobby's or other brand? Thanks.
  3. Instead of mixing the car + paint stripper into a container, you can use paint brush to brush the paint stripper all over the car. You'll see the paint to starts peeling off after a minute or so..wait until the paint peeled off completely, then use toothbrush to brush the stripped paint under running water..
  4. looks more of a knock off to me.. don't forget, anything is also possible in China. I read in newspaper sometime ago that they even produced a knock-off Enzo..
  5. It's made in China, imported by Daisheng (ToyCity)
  6. Yeah, agreed wif you there..it's over price.. mb b'coz it's a local car and there's no other brand willing to produce such model.. Overall exterior design still acceptable, but once u open its doors then .. heh.. the detailing for the interior is totally unacceptable for this price! I mean you can see the diff. when compared to those produced by Burago or Maisto. U can even get a bigger scale (1:24) for the same price range from Burago or Maisto.. Btw, I still think the rear area is not accurate - it's too slim compared to the real thing! But to those who's thinking of buying one, go search at your nearest Parkson (20% off), at least got better deal there compared to ToyCity (10% off for members).
  7. Seen the MyVi at Parkson Sg.Wang today, RM59.90. But there's a 20% discount.
  8. Wah, congratulation to mr. Py.. btw mr.cham, d MyVi is RM59.90 in ToyCity. Imported by Daisheng, Made in China. There r 5 colors, but frankly lar, the behind looks a bit out..MyVi getting slimmer d..
  9. Great tip for those who's thinking of doin' their 1st custom but not do not have a drill. But investing on a set of drill is not a bad investment actually
  10. Nice shot on the Ford GT & Buick GN!
  11. I got the road version of it, but it's a Maisto Fresh Metal
  12. Why the promoter is not identified as an insider? The customer is using the promoter as the insider. The insider will inform the customer whenever the new stock is in. But as long as the promoter display all the units on pegs after informing his/her contact, i think that's still okay. But if the promoter wait till his/her contact browse through the stock before displaying them on the peg, that's unethical.
  13. I think paint not properly mix lar.. I have 1 '08 FE Audi R8 which the metallic color seems to be a little bit lighter.. still, it's nice to own one .. nice find bro!
  14. Another cool custom by mr.cooolman himself! 1st custom rockers, 2nd custom bling².. what's next? Really enjoy ur custom! Keep it coming!!!
  15. The Buggati was caught speeding izzit? Nice find bro!
  16. Matchbox build die-cast with scale, u can find the 1/64, 1/59 scale below the matchbox chasis... and Hotwheels non..... for more realistic car collectors, they will pick Matchbox... Hotwheels normally will TUNED those car to be more lower, big rims, or some bodykit... so Mattel can conquer all the market... Yup, MB cars comes in scale..even the HW's ZR-1 is not the same as MB's. the size might be similar, but MB's got longer wheel-base (front to rear). They might look like comes from the same casting but actually there'r not. Most HWs are either made in M'sia or Thailand or China, but MB cars mostly from Thailand. Only a handful of HWs cars comes with side mirror, but for MB, only a handful that doesn't . I do agree that MB's cars r more realistic and much nicer compared to HWs. Take the Audi R8 for instance
  17. Happy belated b'day mr.cooolman! hope ur wish comes true!
  18. Use Future Acrylic liquid before? Most scale-modellers r using this as their clear-coat.. can get from Ace Hardware for abt RM50++ per bottle..can't recall if it's a 1L or 2L though.. Sure the cheapest option is to get a can of clear coat acrylic spray from hardware shop (abt RM6.50-RM7.50 per can).. well, both oso works fine to me.. but clear coat sell in hardware shop might spoil ur decal/stickers too..
  19. Wow.. Tesco Kajang quite frequent restock le.. congrats bro!
  20. .. this is really great! I'm sure ur creativity had inspired more members to do their own customs bro, since now there's alternative to using decals..
  21. Yeah, their pace was fast enough until when Brawn GP joins in..hehe..infact, their off-season testing was way better compared to McLaren & BMW and yet, they still fail to score a point.. kudos to Kimi & Felipe for driver's error in Albert Park, team error in Sepang and reliability issue in Shanghai. Anyway, in Sepang, rumour has it that it was Michael's decision to change to full wet tyres early and also the team mistake for assuming Felipe's time in Q1 was good enough to qualify for Q2. Looks like F60 is not only the problem Ferrari are facing now
  22. This is the price that they had to pay for focusing on defending the '08 championship title with McLaren . Unlike Brawn GP (formerly Honda F1), Toyota & RBR which started their development of their '09 cars earlier last year. These teams r much compatitive compared to last year's stronger compatitors namely McLaren, Ferrari & BMW now.. Anyway, Ferrari might s well focus on development for nxt season if they hav to completely redesign the whole aerodynamic of F60 just to incorporate the new double-deck diffuser. Now they know how Renault F1 team felt last season..
  23. Thanks for sharing bro! I didn't know they had this before.. but i was not Shell user back then..
