  1. RGSUKAN, your avatar makes my stomache rumble. Nice for a change.
  2. Perhaps we buy in bulk to achieve economy of scale???
  3. Wah! Sister also racing-kah. Must watch-leh.
  4. Price is still going up and up and up. TH 1995 complete 12 - cars going at USD 1,000 to USD 1,500. Own 1-set can take long leave from HW collection orede. This is one set that's really worth going after.
  5. The tampos for the police car set is sharp and superb. A must for those collecting police cars. At RM 19.90 just grab it and don't terhegeh-hegeh. These are, I believe the debut sets and are normally better in quality but can't say the same for future releases.
  6. the ironic part is, the customer has a buddhist monk from TIBET who jus arrived in johor to bless that ....... Looks as though there's nothing much you can do, your car is stationary. Look on the bright side, buddhist monk's effort may have spared the child's life. It could be worse. Nevertheless, drive carefully in Johor, banyak pendatang fr Indon, lagi garang than local. Cheers.

    Parcel Taxed

Confined it to no more than 25 cars and you'll most probably be safe and seller returning you the favour of declaring it no more than USD 50.00.
  8. You will exit at which toll?
  9. Any Snap-On Series, Since '68 & Hall of Fame?

    What hobby?

Net, no reason to quit just because of a few unpleasant encounters and let's not have sleepless nights over the hoarders. One just can't hoard forever, a lot of dough is needed. Before we know, next wave comes along, what's next? Hoard again? Lol. Unless we don't have to work and/or earn a leaving,we can continue to do just that. Hey, look on the bright side, they hoard, you save. And you could be saving to buy something more valuable. I'm sure you can find something you like in the ebay with 26 plus thousand listings daily or something nearer to home. Glad you're not giving up.

    What hobby?

From parents' point of view, I do not think it was b'coz of 'kiasuism' but more to trying to provide the best to their children. I gotto declare I'm neither the father concern nor the uncle with a pouch bag. Lol. But a dad with 2 monstrous sons. Being a dad myself, yes, I certainly believe it's all gotto to with an overly concern dad trying to get the best for the son and the dad's mere body language sent out the wrong signal to Netmatrix. I wouldn't blame Net for having such thoughts, had I been there I would have the same thoughts. But again, we can't pre-judge people, but if we care to know them better, they're not as bad as what we thought. Hoarders, well they're here, there and everywhere and it's not going to stop right here. We gotto admit the we ourselves had been one before at some point of time, but as we grew older our priorities changed and we narrow our collection into something really worth collecting or that we really like and not slipped into an obsession level hoarding everything..Yup, HWs collection or for that matter whatever brand it may be is all about a hobby, nothing to get personal about, it's not about competing with each other One just can't compete, there're just too many collectors out there, but sadly many collectors took it as competition and friends turn into foes. How sad. Simply said, one will never be able to collect or hoard everything under the sky, there'll simply too many cars in the market. You try hoarding too many, you go bust soon, you have difficulties getting rid of it later. The road ahead is long and winding, many thousand of cars coming along or that we have missed previously, so how to continue to hoard?
  12. Nice case buddy, would you be kind enough to pm me the supplier? Tnx.
  13. Cars made in MALAYSIA, Penang to be exact. Cars no need to cross oceans and seas and yet more expensive than neighboring countries. Mind boggling.

  18. "Baby Rolls" was christened the 2010 Rolls-Royce Ghost. It debuted at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show. Now owned by BMW, Rolls-Royce introduced the original Ghost in 1906. The new model is expected to borrow heavily from the new BMW 7 Series. The 2010 Ghost will feature a new turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 producing around 500 horsepower and coupled with a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. The 2010 Ghost is expected to be priced from around $250,000.
  19. From ebay could be cheaper, USD 3 to 5 excluding shipping perhaps.
  20. Pls PM me the price for that Corvette. Tnx.
  21. As for me, I usually start with one row of cars at a time, from top left towards right and down to the bottom most right row of cars. Pick up what ever cars you want from the top left most row that'll leave room for the second row of undesired cars to occupy. So keep shifting cars from right to left and by the time you are almost half way thru, and if you have picked up enough wanted cars, the subsequent process will be much easier as there'll be sufficient space to move about. Besides that, to make the chore easier, we look at the no at the car peg particularly those at the back end, if none desired don't bother to rummage thru, you may bring the whole lot down, particularly if the size of your fist resembles that of a boxer. Besides that, remembering the car nos helps to a great extend as you may save half as much workload.
  22. Still an elegant car. Not oversold like some other cars.
  23. A sleek looking 1964 Pontiac GTO.
  24. Fadli85 great clip, the 1964 Pontiac GTO doesn't gets named as the unofficial 1st muscle for for nothing. Cheers.
  25. Paanjang, thanks for the useful piece of info and your pro-active action, but I'm rather sceptical of what she has said. First and foremost, I think what Mattel HQ is more interested in is that there are enough cars to distribute in the US. They don't really give a damn about the Malaysia market cause it's too small to be of concern to them and they'll most probably leave it to Mattel SEA to pack the cars, so long as not the whole box is of greens that will cause US collectors to bising they'll be ok and also no complaints from local consumers, I guess. If our complaints ever reach Mattel HQ it doesn't makes sense again that they are not listening to our outcry as Americans corporate companies takes complaints very seriously and they will go at lengths to address it to ensure customer satisfaction. Did these complaints ever reach them or that the lady is pulling a fast one on us or something is brewing behind the scene??? My guess is anybody's guess, could it be that there's a surplus of these blimps, killer copters etc nowhere to go and conveniently dumped locally so that in the eyes of Mattel HQ, good all stocks have been cleared. It is truly a very sorry state when you go to say Parkson, Jaya Jusco etc when you still sees those non-moving cars as old as 2006 and 2007 still hanging on the racks, I truly feel for the departmental stalls. The only thing I tak bolih tahaaaaaaaaaaaaaan ................ is track back the last few years sure have a few FE cars, maybe 2, 3, 4 or more that you can't find or difficult to find due to non-availibility or too few pieces made available. Hopefully, Mattel HQ is listening. Errrrr...... just bought a Go Kart.
