Just got back from collecting it. He's also given me an Optimiser, set of love handles few bits & bobs. Bought his Alpinestars leathers for £70 the set, Bike has R & G bobbins, Smartwater, Datatool alarm. Check out how clean the front cylinder head is! Any Viffers will appreciate that. Just need to get it set up how I want it, run it for a few months & check it's OK, then ride it to Spain next Spring Yeehah!!

The internet is a wonderful place is it not? But to me, what motive has Paulius got other than to try & help? Keep in mind this is a fella trying to get something across in a foreign language, he's not posted anything spam like as far as I can see. If I were him I wouldn't go to the police over something as impersonal as this if I were in a foreign land. It's too easy to get ensnared with officialdom and plenty of police don'r have a great attitude to immigrants. He's given a potential lead which others must now act upon, or not, as they see fit.I hope I'm right. Paulius, thanks for your help.

Some years ago I finished up in a public toilet with my mate Chris & his freshly resprayed Z900. Bloke came in and I think he wondered what he'd stumbled into! I have heard of your sort before, If you was a friend on f/book I would delete you Tell you what Dave-after the ride back from Mallory Park on the back of that Kwak my sphincter was clenched so tight I was safe as houses.

I've been toying with the idea of a couple of nights in Chester which puts me spitting distance from Wales. The tourist areas are so called for good reason-they're the best bits, so I reckon you've got to put up with that, although plenty of minor roads in Snowdonia, round Trawsfynnydd for example. I'd like to just do a nice loop, A55 coast road Conwy to Caernarfon, then inland, Llanberis Pass etc. Could be a good couple of hundred miles to be had.

A long standing friend of mine in the trade has been trying to get me into his company for some months. Been to see the directors this morning and have been offered a job. Not stonking money, but I will get paid every month, unlike at present when I go from feast to famine but seldom have just enough. Mondeo estate, company credit card, looks a nice steady job, need to go to Germany & possibly China for training, so it looks like start date of August 1st for me.

Tyres both or just rear?
smilinjack replied to gravelrash's topic in Advice on Repairing and maintaining your bike
But what are they like in the wet Jack? use my bike for work quite a lot and the Michelins work really well. Haveugot1 recently got a pair of Maxxis but dont think has been used in the wet yet. Not had a problem in my that regard. I always take it easy in the wet anyway as all the crap floats to the top of the road surface & frankly no tyre can help you out on that score. Best to just ease off. Bear in mind this is on a ZZR1200 so on a Bandit (lighter, less power) I think you'd be sound. -
