mark I worked for bmw for a while its a common problem but the sump gasket is more common dont attempt to do it on the drive,you have to drop the subframe with steering rack ect ect still attached it aint a quick fix lying on your back job as said take else where,and dont forget all main dealers charge book time,so if it says 4hrs to do the job and it only takes 3 you still get charged 4hrs and us poor sods who have to work in the back get know where near the £70 to £100 an hour rate they charge -
leave the bike till your right mate,I dropped the b6 in back garden trying to do something while not been fit will have a look in shed,might have a casing but cant promise -
Its a strange one Lee if i find a solution i'll let you know. sure I read somewhere the 4pots are a much better caliper Haveugot1 (Mark) has a mk1 4 pot his brakes are great. Skelly has the same model as ours his are also great but he never cleans it and says thats my problem, so our bikes are too clean mate! bet daves brakes dont work at all -

Hi all back off me jollys had a great first week and a not so good second week got a txt to ring home the second week To hear my lad had been involved in collision,on his push bike with a 4x4 but was told to stay put and not worry as his injurys werent life threatening easier said than done,the little sod pulled out of a t jct straight into the path of a 4x4 doing 30mph so got home this morning dropped cases off straight to see him,one very lucky little boy fractured leg is the worse injury all other injurys are cuts/bruises/grazes to every part of his body and cant remember fully what happend so a very unsettled second week in zante main thing is he will be ok
