Looks a good route Dave as Skelly said we have rode various sections of it and they are great for bikes - the Middleton-In-Teesdale to Alston is a good one we have done many times then on to Hartside and the Lakes(not on your route). Loads of B+Bs along your route Dave but sorry couldn't recommend any as never had need to use them (Bladerunner's book or Google is your friend for this I think). No one could ever accuse you of not putting the miles in mate , definitely put me to shame

  7. I think its definitely chrome washers he needs for his screen Den! Its not just little things either, put a spanner or socket down turn your back turn back and its gone!

  9. Looks lovely Dick, great pictures must a admit I do like to get away from the usual spots when out walking and that looks ideal mate, anywhere with water is always a big bonus!
  10. Not Ian Madcarper Dave but a colleague/friend from work with a LandRover Disco vinyl wrapped to look like a police car The reaction from other road users and Police traffic cars bloody good! ( and yes he's looked into the legality side of things and so far what he has done is all legal)

Absolutely fantastic ride/food and company Dave! the drop off system worked really well and as Robbie said we didn't come for a race (enough said) Great to see you and Mel again ( your a very lucky man! ) good to put faces to names and see some lovely well kept machines. Dick always a pleasure mate, hope you got over to see Gaz ok . Maybe on the next one us hard Northerners won't run for home at the first rumble of thunder! ( Except BanditMike who is a hard Northerner) got some pictures to post when I get organized. Lastly A massive THANK YOU to Dave Hutch for all your hard work in organising a very successful and enjoyable rideout hope you feel very proud mate.
