  1. I feel so self-centered right now...I didn't even ask for prayers for my friend who's daughter actually HAS this! Please also pray for them! Please also pray for this little girl and her family...her mom is REALLY scared right now...b/c she couldn't breath last night it was so bad she almost had to call 911! Plz agree with me for a QUICK and miraculous recovery...and also that nobody else catches it in the family! They have a little one, that is younger than 2!!!
  2. Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate it!!!
  3. I am asking for prayer for my family's health. Because of speech delays we have held off on some immunizations for my son...one of which is the whooping cough vaccine. I have just had confirmation that our neighbor who we carpool with HAS tested positive for this disease. Meaning, my son, daughter and I have all been exposed. I am praying that God's awesome power of protection would continue to be upon us, and that NONE of us in our household will contract this whooping cough!
  4. I am so happy! My brother and I had a beautiful talk about the Lord last night!!! He is very intellectual (unlike myself that had to try and spell this word correctly 4 times )!!! Because of his intellect, he really wants to understand things...I think sometimes it gets in the way of faith. He has just started going to church, which I am elated about!!! He is really seeking right now..He said he wants to sit down for coffee and talk about some things he is wondering about! He gave my husband and I the BIGGEST complement in our conversation. He said that his wife's sister and husband was asking questions about us, and they wanted to know if we would like to join them for drinks one night. When my brother told him we don't drink at all and we were devout Christians, he was almost stunned. He explained to me the reason for this is SO MANY devout Christians give off a religious stench that repels the world! He explained the devout Christians they had met in the past were uncomfortable to be around because the were flat out 'weird' and didn't know how to interact normally with others. This to me us the ultimate compliment, because as we shine our lights into the world people should be drawn to us...not repelled!!
  5. Thx for sharing deborah...I sent you a pm with some questions about this.
  6. He is so good! Super happy for you!
  7. Hi daisychain...Im sorry your having a hard time right now. I wish I could be of more help, but all I have is a suggestion or two. Try and remember the all questions that you were asked in this interview. Also try and remember all the other questions you have ever been asked in an interview. Write as many down as you can, and practice answering those questions. The more you practice them, the more confident you will answer them in your next interview. I agree with Connie, fear does paralize us...but as you meditate on the Love of God (how much He cares for you) it will cast away all your fears. I understand why you would feel so upset right now, but you can use this experience as a platform for yourself for the next interview. I pray that Gods peace and love would SO be upon you now and in your upcoming interviews, that fear couldn't have any room in your heart or mind. I also pray for Gods awesome favor to be upon you...to open doors that no man can open and to shut all the doors that were not meant for you.
  8. I will be praying continually for him...plz continue to update us on this.

  11. I am so sorry for this struggle you are going through dreams3. I am praying for you and that this situation gets better. I want to encourage you to get some christian counseling with or without him. Either way, I feel that you will appreciate this support down the road. How involved are you in your local church? Do you feel that your church is equipt to at least counsel you, and support you emotionally in counseling on a weekly or bi-weekly basis? This may be a cost effective way to get some loving support to help you remain strong for the children. Please know that though things seem hopeless right now, that God is your stronghold in this time of trouble, no matter what your husband chooses to do or not to do. Please keep me posted on how things are progressing, and know that I am praying diligently for you sweetie.
