If the Blade's off my other choice for a sports bike would be an Aprilia RSV. Some real nice ones about and they surely move. -
Being a gentleman I'll give Chad first knock but I might be interested in that Dick-providing it has the little dingdong wiring loom to put across the bike battery. -
A guy on the ZZR forum has run Chinese disks on a ZZR1200 for a couple of years without issue. I'd have some if I could afford them. May need to soon anyway as they're getting thin. I'd personally risk a wavey Chinky if I neededd new disks. -
Chad, I'd advise you not to shag about with a 306 turbo unless you want to spend time under & over it. Is it the 1.9 with the intercooler above the engine? Bag of shite, and keep the oil clean otherwise they're prone to dieselling. -

I bought them from Moto GB in Rawtenstall, £420 delivered. I could possibly have got them cheaper by ordering from Italy as you pointed out, but this way I get a full VAT invoice which means I can reclaim £70 anyway (business purchase ) so they've cost me £350 which I can also offset against tax. -

Haha yes, unfortunately lack of space elsewhere means I have a freezer and tumble drier in there, not to mention a variety of other people's crap. The lift will go to work where I tend to do big stuff like services anyway.

If I was to sell this would anyone be interested ?? you would have to pick it up and I would want £150 for it , just seeing if anyone would want it , cant make my mind up ATM I'd be well interested Dave, fitting that exhaust this weekend was like doing yoga I got bagsies on it now should anyone else dive in. -
Still got some tidying to do and refit a few bits, but Ihave at least got the cans fitted. As quiet as stock with the db killers in, and pleasantly raspy without being stupid when they are removed. All fitted together nicely too.

Not for me mate, lots of work to catch up-been working Isle of Man all week so things to do. And TBH, my new exhaust for the VFR has arrived so any spare time is likely to go on that. -

Blade is a true icon, one of Honda's major contributions to motorcycle history along with the VFR and CB750. I'd have one were it not for my old knees and lack of self trust. Fill your boots mate

top revs there wasn't so much of a thrill as the ninja! Course it hasn't you turnip, that's why it's the bike it is! A decent can will most likely give it a bit more zip, but it's going to remain a CB1000 no matter what. If you want upright riding position and big horses, Aprilia Tuono all day long. Mad as a box of frogs.

Did think about that Stan and my mate's brother is an exhaust builder, but I'd like to keep the stockers in case my new zorst is a bit fruity come MOT time. -
