  3. nope. Went a few years back and said *what a bloody rip off* and never been since if it was cheaper to get in then i would maybe think of going again one year.
  4. the preload adjusters i wouldn't bother with. just gives people an excuse to fiddle with ya bike when its parked up I want to get one of these, but it costs nearly as much as the rest of the stuff i've just bought!!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EVOTECH-ALLOY-PETROL-FUEL-CAP-SILVER-BLACK-FITS-YAMAHA-XJR-1300-/181146788272?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item2a2d30a1b0
  5. should run better once i get the new headers on and the carbs balanced such a fun, yet hooligan bike!
  6. Love the sound of this exhaust! Need to get the bike serviced as its a few thousand past its first big one :shock:plus the carbs need balancing! The video doesn't do the sound of this bike any justice! Ask Dave or Chad lol. Only reving to 4k RPM as i don't wanna piss too many people off
  7. As the title says, what are you lot treating your bikes to this winter? Seeing as some kn*bhead doesn't think i deserve 2 motorcycles, i'm resorting to using the XJR through the winter ( long story short, insurance companies take the piss ) So treated her to a full set of braided lines. Front, back and the clutch, new clutch slave seals and a set of stainless downpipes to give me a full stainless 4-2-1 system. I need to get the shocks power coated and the fork stanchions done but that will be an after winter job. So what you lot done or doing to yours?
  8. Use to have a issue with my zed going into a false neutral, common problem with the ZX9R/Z1000 and its usually the 4th gear that does it. Never found a way around it but i didn't let it bother me. Was a cracking bike
  9. Hmm ride home wasn't too bad, just had to crank it over to go straight
  10. you'd bin the silencer straight away anyway. Can't have a twin and not let it roar
  11. Yeah, not looking forward to riding back from west midlands to east midlands tomorrow on the bike
  12. is thats ghost riders 499BHP busa looks a hell of a lot like it!!
  13. fair play, can't argue with that :P plus no wait for delivery
  14. where did you get them from in the end? look good, and one of the best sounding cans on the VFR
  15. Not suprised, they didn't wanna know when one of there big pot holes snapped my rear shock on a 125! All they will do is put a white circle around the hole, wait a few more months then fill it in.
  16. had what does the "HID" do then ? High-intensity discharge = brighter light, but with the incorrect lenses you blind the shit out of everyone
  17. get a nice xenon gassed bulb. I run a pair in all my bikes ( not got around to the xjr yet ) and they are brilliant. White light, very bright! couple quid on ebay for a H4 or H7
  18. Its an 06 Chad and its the silencer That's the only one I could find Dick it did have a buy it now price of £179 ex p+p so I will be watching it closely and put a crafty bid in at the end!! @ fr499y - full stainless including down pipe Mat?Yup downpipes and can http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ful-System-Exhaust-Muffler-Arrow-Honda-XR-125-L-R-SM-/161082056264?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item25813d1e48 I've used EM LINEAMOTO twice for parts, one was a full exhaust for my old SV650 cost me £350 all in, the other time was for my mivv double gun for the cbr, which was £150. Didn't have to pay any taxes on it and it turned up within 2 weeks ( a long wait i know )can get them from the UK but tend to be a bit more. Worth double checking with them if you are going to buy it and just make sure it is the full system but im pretty sure it is
  19. if not, £250 would get you a full stainless arrow system
