  6. Used to love the ride to six hills, cracking roads from my abode. Cant see me getting over at all this year but I live in hope that the sturgeon will say its safe to swing a leg over me bike sooner rather than later

  10. all this messing about, all you needed was to step into a timewarp back to the seventies and got yourself some platform sole boots Dave. Bike would be unmolested and you would look trendy-ish sort off
  11. I have a 52ltr one on mine comes in real handy for stopping the wife from falling off and the added bonus of stopping lowlifes using the crash helmet as a urinal (lovely people round here)

  14. agree with the above. sounds as if badly sulphated internally causing it to discharge
  15. The bmf show went down hill when they handed over organisation of the shows to live promotions around 2008 then mulberry took over in 2009. they were a lot better when the bmf did the organising themselves but progress eh not always for the better

  17. well been to see the surgeon today, he told me that looking at the x ray my hip is totally shot and a total replacement is necessary for me to get any quality of life back. He then offered to do the procedure this Monday 15\4\13 I said I thought this was a bit too soon ( my wife has her hand in plaster.. that will teach her to laugh at me limp) we settled on 20th may gives me a chance to fill the bike with oil etc and I can look forward to sitting out the summer with a pair of crutches to ride round on Have fun this summer and ride safe I will be thinking of you

  19. I had trouble with car insurance when I changed motors, if they gave you an email address, scan the docs and email them to them then phone to confirm its the quickest way, I got down to 4 hours till they cancelled the policy and it was sorted in minutes
  20. big fat 0 for me having trouble getting me right leg across the saddle and I aint got the strength in me leg to hold it up if needed roll on the bloody hip replacement
