  1. Goldeneagle - It's hard when you commit to taking care of a loved one and that person makes their transition then you realize how much time has passed. Your friends/peers are in different phases of their lives but your own life has moved in a different direction as a result of your commitment. While it is comforting and satisfying to know that you've fulfilled one of the Ten Commandments by honoring your parent and you know the Lord is pleased with you as a result, there's still part of us that yearns to get our own needs met. Fortunately, we serve an awesome and faithful God who knows our needs even before we make them known to Him. Those lonely feelings may be a flag to lean into the Lord more through prayer and reading of the Word. He understands your pain as He has experienced similar things - For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15) The reassuring thing here is that the Lord is with you, He hasn't forsaken you. He tells us that throughtout the Old and New Testament. Check out the following scriptures and meditate over them, incorporate them into your daily prayers: Deuteronomy 4:30-31 – 30 When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the LORD your God and obey His voice 31 (for the LORD your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them. Deuteronomy 31: 6-8 – 6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” 7 Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, “Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall cause them to inherit it. 8 And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” Joshua 1:5-9 - 5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Ruth 2:20 Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, “Blessed be he of the LORD, who has not forsaken His kindness to the living and the dead!” 1Kings 6:13 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake My people Israel. 1 Chronicles 28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God—my God—will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. Psalm 9:10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. Isaiah 42:16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them. Matthew 28:20 I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Hebrews 5:16 I will never leave you nor forsake you. I will keep you in my prayers!

  6. Amen! Thank you Father for Your protection over your children!
  7. May the Lord bless you and keep you today and everyday!
  8. Hi Shofar - I go through periods of this as well. There are a couple of things that I do. First, of course, is prayer. Connie suggested this a while ago - plead the blood of Jesus over your bedroom, over your dreams/visions, thoughts, etc. and pray that you would be able to remember your dreams and any message that God is trying to relay to you. It has helped me tremendously. Also, I tend to be the type of dreamer who forgets the dream within seconds of waking up. So I have a voice recorder on my bedside table and as soon as I wake up, I speak into the recorder so that my dream is captured. (This was recommended to me by Daph/Laura Boaz, the site Sr moderator) I find that I am able to keep a lot of the details of the dream when I do this. You can get them for as little as 19.99 at WalMart or around $99 and above if you want additional features like being able to keep the file as a .wav file which you can store on your computer. I personally am more a visual person so I transcribe my dreams into a private dream blog that I created on Google. Hope this helps!
  9. Yes, I heard about this! It scared me because a friend of mine left for Jamaica the same day, but fortunately they were flying into Montego Bay! Praise the Lord that all lives were spared!
  10. Father God, we thank you that you liberally give wisdom to those who seek it without reproach. Your light guides our paths, our steps are ordered by you. We thank you for the revelation that you will provide to Kellsy2004 as she seeks your face. We give you all the glory, now and forever. In Jesus' name, Amen.
  11. HLB - Keeping you lifted up in prayer, Sister! Remember that your God will supply ALL of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!
  12. It is an incredible blessing to see the growth in the number of members of this site! At the last count we are now a community of 1043 members which is nothing short of God remarkable because just one year ago the membership was under 300 members. I believe that there are several reasons for this growth - aside from the magnetic personalities... ....it is truly God at work. When Mia and Laura started this site last year, it was in response to a calling that the Lord had placed on Mia’s heart which was to teach people how to interpret their dreams so that they could grow closer in their fellowship with the Lord. One key premise of her teaching is that dream and symbol interpretation would be Bible based. Another key piece that the Lord told them was that the site was not to name drop, i.e, reference external ministries. It is important that this site be a neutral ground so that we are not distracted from our mission which is to interpret dreams and discuss dream interpretation. If we allow references to external sites, we invite judgment and potential dissension within the group. Even in those cases where a ministry is extremely well known, there will always be some who do not support the ministry. Our challenge is that we don’t want to appear as though we implicitly support a ministry by allowing references because we don’t want to alienate other members who don’t agree with the teachings of that ministry. I’ve found myself in the last couple of weeks editing several posts and PM’ing members to make them aware of this rule which is something I don’t like to do but have to do in order to maintain the integrity of the site. So I thought I’d post a link to Laura’s teaching on this very topic as she provides an eloquent explanation. I encourage all members, especially our newer members, to read this posting as well as some others that I think will serve as a great refresh for longstanding members or as a great teaching for newer members. Please read and abide by these principles while on the site: External websites /forum-rules-regulations-f16/more-rules-and-guidelines-t2216.htm Symbol Use http://www.heartsongministry.com/Dream_symbols.html Living as Children of Light /forum-rules-regulations-f16/living-as-children-of-light-t1194.htm I would like to add something related to this last posting, “Living As Children of Light”. This site is meant to be a place where people can come to learn, seek confirmation on their dreams, fellowship, and otherwise receive and/or provide edification from/to others. It is our desire that everyone leave here feeling better/stronger than when they arrived. Everyone should expect to have a peaceful experience while here. Should you ever find that that peace is not possible because of another member’s contact or actions towards you, either on the boards or behind the scenes (i.e., PMs), please feel free to PM the moderators to let us know of the situation and we will prayerfully address it. We love you all and pray that God continues to richly bless you!
  13. Amen!!! Sorry for taking us off track when such a serious issue is at hand. Dani, will keep you and your family lifted up in prayer as you move through this trial. Please let us know how things turn out, ok?

  16. jbs - Sorry to hear about your job loss! Trust Him that He's working this situation out for your good. As Halo said, He has something better for you and it may be that that job would keep you from it. Consider it a repositioning moment to put you in the place where you'll receive your blessings. It may make no sense now but you will get the revelation. Trust Him as our Jehovah Jireh and trust His promise that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
  17. Praise the Lord that He is a miracle working God! Standing in agreement with you, dani! He is your everpresent help in times of trouble such as this. Hang in there, ok?
