I think God has a different path for all us, seems like everyone has an unique story. And it seems like every dating book has a theory of finding your mate. I think every "single and waiting" book has a recommendation of what you need to do, who you need to be for it to happen. But in all things it really depends on God, not man. So, the question really should be how long can I wait on God? I know, I know I didn't like when people told me to wait but it is scriptural Psalm 37:7 says "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." -
I know. I have some of his cds as well. I have invited his teachings into my life because they are straight from Jesus Christ. I love the way he always lifts up Christ, in all of his sermons, he talks about God's love for us. It is so freeing, you truly feel like God is your Daddy!! -
Oh my gosh, I love him too, I thought I was the only one!!! No one hardly talks about him. I remember first seeing him in like 2007, they use to bring him on TBN late Friday nights (hardly no one was watching), now he is on every morning on some of the local channels...spreading the Gospel of Grace!!!!

Amen to that, I know how you feel when I was in school, there were so many attacks coming on me mentally and physicallly before I graduated at the time I was a young Christian (still am in some ways), all I did was pray, every issue that came up I asked God for help. And sometimes when you don't know how to pray, ask The Spirit to pray for you and believe it in Jesus name!

nubava and lola thank you. I guess my spiritual ears are not tuned in well enough. i do agree i mostly have to spend more time in The Word and mature more .

Ok, this maybe obvious for others but for me it's not so obvious. I read a dream last night that sparked a question in me. If you are falling asleep or just about to wake and you hear a voice. How do you test that spirit to know it's from God. I know people say it alot and they would ask you does it line up with the Word. But what if the voice isn't telling you to do something eg. a few years ago I was between sleep and wake I heard this voice telling me something very specific about my future, I don't have to do anything but wait. Right now with my natural eyes I don't see that thing happening. How would I test that spirit? How would I know it's true?
