  1. It does, I was thinking this old version of Sim City that my husband and i used to play on 'Sloth', or old 9+ year old computer.
  2. Thanks for letting us know. Hope she will be home tomorrow too.
  3. Don't even get me started. Since we're on the subject of small, going around town is a drama and a half for me. I have nastagnus (that is my eyes move all the time) and these teeny tiny things just annoy me. Half the time I can't even find Tiddly Winks in it. The other half just leaves me staring at the screen like a fool. It's still laggy, and Sven's complaining about his browser crashing. He just started the game and enjoyed his first week, but now he's just disappointed and I am tired of him being disappointed.
  4. That's mobbing in the worlds worst way. My husband said that they are probably trying to find a reason to get rid of Dan. How awful. Sven was a victim of this form of abuse at his old workplace, and the guy who did it is probably still there. Why companies can get away with that sort of rubbish is beyond me, but Dan did nothing wrong. You are doing the best you can for him, but keep your thoughts focused on Molly. She needs to have a strong mummy who is gioing to stay healthy for her. The last month of pregnancy is (I hear) hard on the body, so you just hang in there. When Sven's having a bad day, I make him a really special dinner and reassure him that I am proud of him. He's had, during the past months, ups and downs with all the stuff in our lives, so saying 'I'm proud of you' can go a long way. Hope that helps. sending lots of hugs your way.
  5. I fed it to Tiddly Winks, but the lag took away everything, even today's lottery. I'm not a happy camper at all. I'll try it, but later, when I am not dealing with lag, crash, lag.
  6. Oh the other thing I hate, the pets are too small. I have eye problems, can't see them so well, and end up squinting trying to see anything. Tiddly Winks doesn't move around right (lag) and my husband is totally disappointed. He can't afford much of anything and he wanted to use decorations from his chest to decorate. When he couldn't, in his words, he said 'this is lame'.
  7. I don't like it. I have griped about it in other threads, but I really think that it's the beginning of the end for PS. My husband just started playing and he's totally put out with it. The build up to this 'Pets Town' thing was a lot to do about nothing. Ugh.
  8. This will definitely not be my week. I am not fond of a lot of these things. Farms and such are not my thing, even though I spent some of my formidable years on a farm...I was just never into it. Maybe I just got burnt out with watching Hee Haw on TV as a kid...who knows. I guess it will be good for me, since I can now save coins for a rainy day.
  9. I am so not happy right now. This morning after they started it, I couldn't get in, then when I did, the game lagged. The stuff on the application requests says. Here is a ...(insert item name) for you! I hope you like it! Would you help me out by sending a component back? The fact remains that you don't get anything. I have already had three really good friends decide to quit the game because of this update. I read that you can't put already existing things in your yard, you have to buy them, most of which are cash coin items. This is turning into Petville, where people basically have to pay to get the good stuff. They should have left well enough alone. I would have bought the stuff I wanted, but now feeling forced into it stinks. I was in a bad enough mood this morning, now this just adds to my frustration and stress. I go to Facebook to have fun, not to deal with rubbish like loading issues, endless white screens of death, and not being able to do anything. I don't want to quit, I've invested way too much into this game, but I will NOT start playing any of Playfish's other games...ever, I don't care how 'interesting' they may seem. I spent hard earned money to buy winged shoes and a tree coin thing ages ago. Now I can't use either one, because it takes too long to find the trees that have the coins in them. I feel like PS players have given the shaft, and I don't like it one bit. Somehow I knew that this was going to happen.
  10. Games back up, loading problems. Why am I not surprised????
  11. Oh well, this will give me the time I need to feed my cats in Happy Pets.
  12. It's firefox. I just managed to log in through IE. I hate IE, but at least it works.
  13. I'm not really sure. My husband was able to get on PS before it happened, but I am getting a page loading error, which has been going on for about half an hour now. I am not sure what is up with that, but will try with IE, since Firefox seems to be dishing out nothing but problems.
  14. Is anyone else not able to get into Facebook? I have been getting all sorts of error messages within the past twenty or so minutes. My husband's having the same problem accessing his account. Now with PS wanting to do something new, I am getting very very nervous. I know I should think positive, but that is not exactly easy to come by....not with life generally stinking, as is the case right about now. In the immortal words of Anne Murray, 'we sure could use, a little good news today'.
  15. I probably will never trade my ghost dress or my Japanese Princess bundle. The ghost dress because a really good friend gave it to me and it came about before the hacking really started, and the bundle is something I really splurged to get, so I will never part with it. I also have a heart chocolate that Kokonee gave me right after she started, and I will never part with it. I will always have at least one of those in my chest.
  16. I've gotten two from the lottery, had one already, so now I have three. I want the perfume bottle in the worst way, but the lottery is being really mean to Tiddly Winks. Xavier (my husband's pet) has gotten four of them, and he's a boy who hates pink. How big of a bummer is that???? If they change the lottery wheel before Tiddly Winks gets her perfume bottle, I'M going to be MAD!
  17. A lot of people are worried about crashes and save failed messages...it's a viable concern considering the fact that my husband is having loading issues and save failed messages now...and the changes haven't even been made yet. I am a bit worried, to be honest.
  18. This is definitely great, and I will so enjoy decorating the yard. It's a good thing I got the CCs when I did, something tells me I'm going to need them...not just for Tiddly Winks, but also for some of her friends. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I've actually seen those awful toy monkeys on the ceiling. I don't like the monkeys they look stiff as though cut out like cardboard. But, I have seen tons of them on the ceiling.
  20. For the past few months I have totally anticipated last night. The reason, one of the singers in this group is friends with me on Facebook. He gave us the ultimate Christmas present, that being tickets to the show, which happened last night. The show was, to say the least really awesome. How did this come about? Here's the story. I have been a Gregorian fan since around 2002 when one of my friends introduced me to their music. She had bought a CD and played it for me. Needless to say, after hearing their version of Bridge Over Troubled Water once, I was hooked. Soon after that I found a forum of other fans who loved their music as much as I did. I got to know a lady in the States who would later become friends with various members of the group. When the forum changed hands, I quit, but stayed in touch with the other members of the original forum. At any rate, back in December I was exchanging PMs with this girl and she asked me if I was going to the concert. I said, I can't because Sven was laid off back in April and I couldn't, in good conscience, give out money for concert tickets when I didn't know what tomorrow would bring. She then asked which venue was closest to us, and I said, Frankfurt. The following day, she posted a message to me saying 'you are going to the concert on the 15th of February as a guest of the group.' I was like huh??? She then told me that she had told one of the singers about our situation and he put us on the list of ticket recipients. So, last night, we went to the hall and picked up the tickets. The seats themselves were not that great, but I was just happy to be there. I was ready to hurl the people behind us out the nearest window, though. They spent most of the concert talking to each other (loudly) that it was distracting me from really enjoying the music. Why is it that people with absolutely no etiquette go to concerts? If they want to sit around blabbing, why don't they go play bingo or something, not go to a music concert? I finally turned around and shot the woman a glare and commented to my husband about how rude it was that people do that. If they were in front of them, I'd have kicked the back of their chair. Ugh. Afterwards we got a chance to meet several of the singers, and I got to thank my facebook friend by giving him a teddy bear and a box of chocolates. I told him, you can share the wrapped item with the others, and he grinned at me and said 'I might share'. It was totally a wonderful evening, even though the rude people behind us needed to be gagged.
  21. I'm posting my room. It's not exactly the Raiders of the Lost Bark, but it's a nice camping, scene...with a tad bit of gold.
  22. I put one in the trader last night, if you want it, it may still be there. Just let me know if you want one, I'll put one in for you when they come out of the baskets.
