  1. go and take them now Were it not for the fact I'm in a hotel in Yarmouth I would mate.
  2. Right well it's at home, my son signed for it & he actually thought it was new, it looked so clean & shiny when they wheeled it off the van. Mind you I'll soon put that right eh? Pics tomorrow night and fingers crossed for some decent weather at the weekend. Yeah right.........
  3. Saw this thread thought you were talking about Dave again
  4. Spoken to the dealer, everything's in place. I've just taken my ZZR up to work to make some space, actually quite nice to be out on a bike for the first time in about three weeks I think. And I will say, as excited as I am about finally owning a Speed Triple after close on 15 years of thinking I ought to have one, that old Kawasaki still feels good when I open the taps.
  5. you been on about that for a couple of years ,lol I know, I just keep thinking if I drop a sheet on it the wife might get used to it being there & not be bothered about me getting rid. Could be a future classic!
  6. Yeah got to take my ZZR up to work tomorrow to make room in the garage. Really must get that Bandit tidied up & sold. It's getting a bit out of hand
  7. have you got it Sorry m8 should have posted. Short answer-no. They got a crossed wire and were expecting me to collect it on Saturday. Anyway, delivery now scheduled for Wednesday but I'm working away so prob won't be any pics up until Friday/Saturday.
  8. I think it's one of Dave's watches that didn't go together quite right
  9. Awesome!! She even has a colour co-ordinated thermos flask.
  10. I thought he said he'd defecated!! Hopefully not while he was out riding
  11. Buying a Kawasaki is seldom a bad thing. And a 636 is a handy tool to have in your box, as it were.
  12. Well, I've finally overcome my bout of man flu so it's back to work in the morning. An overnighter in Lancashire beckons, but at least I know I'm on a winner with my hotel tomorrow, I've stayed there before. Oh yeah, almost forgot-my Speed Triple is being delivered on Saturday.
  13. It was a shocking decision by the ref though.......
  14. Thought it was just me being a thicko
  15. Pala, it's because of drivers like this that you should carry a really large nut in your left hand pocket.
  16. ...but not wasted my time. I've just emailed the insurance certificate for my Speed Triple to the dealer so they can tax it. They've also agreed to MoT it for me (first one due March 25th) so now it's just down to getting a delivery date.
  17. Doubt if it's more than 500 and most of that is in trips up to me dad's sorting out the bungalow, and a couple of rides to CMC for test rides on other bikes. Not particularly exciting really
  18. Do you need to put a warning sign up given that it's on private ground? It does overlook a public highway.
  19. Good on yer m8 insured my Speed Triple at the weekend so hopefully arrange delivery next week or two. Enjoy
  20. No but the Chinese did-I was at the NEC yesterday setting up for Printwear & Promotion and we got chatting to a security guy. He told us they'd escorted about 50 Chinese off the site. They were taking photos, measuring stuff, going on the stands after closing, even removing components to take away to copy.

Double points on Tesco petrol and burgers this weekend. It's their Only Fuel & Horses offer
  22. Yes I was just thinking about this and it's a different situation on paddock stands compared to a centre stand. I'd still be inclined to do it by the book as they say.
