Also one other note. Once a door is open the enemy can transfer back and forth. Especially in cases of trauma or abuse. They move between the person receiving the trauma or abuse to the spirit in the person inflicting trauma or abuse. This is called a door. The enemy will continue to use that same door until we close that door. It is called a door closing prayer. Keep in mind there may be many doors that are open. Generational curses (as many as 14 generations back), trauma, witchcraft, Drugs, Hypnosis, Idolatry, Rebellion and disobedience, curses, ungodly soul ties, unforgiveness, unrepented sin, not being born again, honoring your father and mother, works of the flesh and pride. But I want you to remember this scripture everytime the enemy would try to intimidate you about this. Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy and nothing will by any means harm you." Like I said I will pm you. Blossom, In response to your questions. Yes they can transfer from one person to another. Most though will find a home....so to speak like Dreamster said. Christians cannot be demon possessed but can have spirits in them. They cannot possess us because the Holy Spirit possess us and will not share space with the enemy. However they can torment a persons body and mind and that is how Christians are affected by the enemy. I will send you a pm in a few minutes with some additional information. Love in Jesus, Connie

Lovetoworship, I totally agree with you here. For me I had a long list of folks to forgive.......I had been through many years of physical, mental and sexual abuse and the Lord had to help me understand how to forgive. But no matter how deep the pain is.....the Lord will show you gently who you need to forgive. For me that pain was so great that I could not at first handle it in the natural, so the Lord helped me through my dreams. That helped me a lot. The person he showed me though was myself. I was expecting it to be others....and there were a few....but it was me I needed to forgive. I was like how can I forgive me for all of this stuff I did and he gently reminded me that if he could forgive me then I should be able to forgive me. I got it....but it took a bit. I had to pray and then finally I released it to the Lord. So I can now say that I am free and with all that I am I have forgiven all those that have offended me, including me. This is an excellent subject. Forgiveness is key. The Lord says that he cannot forgive us if we do not forgive others. Love in Jesus, Connie

Witchcraft like any other spirit will come in when there is a crack in the wall so to speak. Either through a generational curse or through a time in our life before we knew the Lord or maybe through an unconfessed sin since salvation. I would confess all generational sins and all sins I may have commited and dont forget to forgive your forefathers and yourself for any thing you or they may have done.
