Praise the Lord, True Flight! Glad to hear your family has joined you! The hours sound rough but I know you're giving thanks for the opportunity nonetheless. Continue to trust in the Lord, and when it's time you'll receive the revelation and understanding where everything will become crystal clear as to how/why it unfolded the way that it did. Will pray for that the Lord will continue to bless you and keep you!

I just read this on Facebook and thought I would share it...some encouraging words today from "Jesus-is the Only Way & The Only Truth" group. I really love this particular page, always a nice encouraging devotional for the day. Anyway, enjoy, be encouraged and be blessed! ========================================================================================================== From Jesus- is The only way & The only Truth - Daily Page Sunday, June 27, 2010 What are you focusing on today? Are you focusing on your difficult situation, or on God’s promises? You may have all kinds of problems coming at you. You may feel stressed out and worried as new problems and challenges have popped up in your life. Maybe you’ve had a lot come against you lately. It seems like the more you pray, the wor...se things get. Maybe you are doing the right thing, but the wrong thing keeps happening. Friends, if that’s happing to you. I want to remind you today that God is with you. He is on your side. He has your best interest at heart, if it feels like you’re facing impossible challenges, don’t be afraid. God is on your side—nothing is impossible for Him. Stay focused on what God can do in your life. Remember, He’s always in control. All through the Bible, we have examples of how God suddenly showed Himself strong on behalf of His people. But sometimes when we’ve struggled in an area for a long time, it’s easy to just give up and accept things the way they are. One of the enemy’s favorite lies is to tell you that nothing is ever going to change. He’ll tell you that you’re never going to get well, or that you’re never going to be happy and that things will always be the same. But don’t listen to those lies. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in those circumstances, God can change things in an instant! In a split second of time, He can turn it all around. One touch of God’s power can heal your body. One touch of His favor can promote you. One touch of His goodness can solve that problem. Just one touch from Almighty God can instantly change your life. Don’t let it get you down. Don’t let it take your focus off of God. Friends, God is working on your behalf in the supernatural, even when you can’t see it. Keep your trust and your focus on His promises, not on your problems. Our God-given dreams are like seeds planted deep within our hearts. For those dreams to grow, they must take root. Having faith for your dream means you believe it on the inside before it takes place on the outside. In other words, you’ve got to see those dreams coming to pass no matter what’s going on around you. Whenever life seems extra difficult, whenever it seems like the pressure has been turned up, whenever negative thoughts are overrunning your mind, or you’re tempted to get upset and worried, that’s not the time to give up! That’s not the time to back down. That’s the time to dig your heels in. That’s the time to press on with a new attitude because you are closer than you think to your victory. And remember If God is for us, who can ever be against us? (Romans 8:31, Our God is all powerful and nothing is too hard for him. Friend, don’t allow the enemy to steal from you any longer! Instead, press on toward the goal because you’ve come too far to give up now. Remember, God Almighty is with you, and He is leading and guiding you down the path of victory in every area of your life. You may not understand everything that’s going on in your life right now, but I encourage you to keep your head held high. Know that God is working in your life. Keep being faithful. Keep doing the right thing knowing that in the end God is going to turn things around in your favor. No matter what’s going on around you today, you can put your shoulders back and put a smile on your face because God has good things in store for your future! God Bless you.† And in an instant, suddenly, you shall be visited and delivered by the Lord of hosts…” (Isaiah 29:5-6,) Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see” (Hebrews 11:1)

cbvirtuous - First {{{{{BIG HUG}}}}}}, I feel your pain. I also have been there...being in a relationship with someone who loved me one minute and then found an area where he felt I was inadequate and he played that area like a fiddle. I tried to "improve" in that area and then a different area that needed development was discovered. And so it continued for years, until I finally saw the pattern and realized that the problem was not with me. When I had that epiphany suddenly everything changed, it was like being in the optometrist's chair when the letters on the wall are readable but then one slight adjustment suddenly makes everything crystal clear and you didn't even realize that the letters could be viewed so crisply. At that moment, nothing he said anymore impacted me because I realized he wasn't in a place emotionally or spiritually to speak into my life despite the fact that he was my husband... In another relationship, the man went through repeated patterns of being hot then cold towards me then suddenly got into a relationship with someone who couldn't fill the shoes I wore as a toddler much less my current shoes. And although I knew that was the case , I was tremendously hurt and baffled wondering what it was that she had that I didn't. Over time I realized that I was asking the wrong question - it became apparent that this was not about me so there was no need to feel rejection. This was really about him and his own low self-esteem and self-image. Needless to say, that relationship didn't last but a few months...But the wonderful thing that occurred during this period is that in my pain, I grew closer to the Lord and He healed me. He ALWAYS brought the right people at the right time to say the exact thing that I needed to hear in that moment to get through. GOD IS FAITHFUL! He began to speak to me through my dreams to let me know several things, one of which was that He was doing a good work in me and was going to bring it to completion. I was a work in progress and he was going to rebuild me. And he has (and continues to do so)! Until you fully understand and believe how God sees you, and until you start to see yourself as God sees you, you will continue to impacted by how this man says he sees you. But at some point you will realize that this man was simply wrong. The problem here is that when it's not your "attractiveness" that's the "issue" then it will become something else. And then something else again. And again. As others have stated so well, hurting people hurt people. On the one hand, they "love" and "appreciate" your qualities, yet they reject you and attempt to make you feel inadequate as well. Everyone here has offered some wonderful insights and advice. It may be too early to receive any of it because everything is so fresh, the wounds are still raw and you're still digesting what has happened and trying to understand it much less being able to process it and move forward. But the bottom line is that he can't love you the way that God intends for you to be loved because he's broken. He can't give what he doesn't have. Only God can heal and restore him to make him whole, not you nor anyone else. So on this basis, his opinion of you holds no weight, it's not valid, he's not qualifed to make deposits into your life - so the challenge for you is to stop seeking his validation because that's where he has power in your life and is able to manipulate you. And that's not God. The best thing that you can do for him and more importantly for yourself is to let him go, pray God's best for him and cut him off - otherwise, he will continue to have a place in your life that he is not worthy of and he will continue to kill your spirit little by little until it's destroyed. And that's not God. Intercede for him but don't feel compelled or allow him to claim that you have to be a part of his process. You need healing as well and you also have a son who needs you and needs you to be whole so that you can love him and care for him in the way that he needs to be taken care of. Resign from this post so that you can heal, be restored, grow from this experience and become the woman that God has destined you to become and that He can bring the man who will see you the way that God does and love you and cherish you the way that He wants you to be loved.

Hi Justblueskies - I think you should move forward with this commitment. Despite the way in which the assignment occurred, if you think you could work with Mrs. Jones then there may be a great opportunity to learn from her since you're seeking management experience and she appears to have it. Don't let the enemy working through the controlling lady to distract you from what you want to get out of it. My ....

Praise the Lord, Latoya! Welcome to the site! I have prayed for you. The scripture that I'd like to leave you with is Psalm 147:3 - 3 He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. Know that God loves you beyond anything that you can imagine. He sees what is going on and is not pleased. He will comfort, heal, and strengthen you as you go through this season. Cry out to Him when you need to, He is your refuge and is always with you. You may not see it now, but He will work this for your good.

GoldenEagle - I can understand your discomfort if you've not read his posts. But as Hind'sfeet stated, I would suggest that you find his member name, click on his profile and then click on the "Posts" link. As you follow his interpretations and responses, the problem will be become very apparent. He has been given several opportunities to discuss these beliefs but it also became clear that this was not a situation where someone was a young Christian who came under bad teaching. It also wasn't comfortable for me to publicly and specifically call someone out. This is not how we operate on this site. But when someone repeatedly states things that are unbiblical, brushes off the opportunity to discuss these matters both in posts and in PMs from moderators, and continues despite several warnings from the Administrators to make sure that his interpretations and advice are Bible based, then we have a responsibility to you and the other members, especially newer members who haven't seen his previous posts so may not see immediately that he's passing on unChristian beliefs, to warn you to tread lightly when interacting with him. Most importantly, I don't do anything drastic related to this site unless the Lord leads me to do it. And that was the case in this case. The only way to address this situation effectively and swiftly before anyone else was given false information was to post in such a way that any new member would see the announcement from whereever they are. My hope is that I won't have to do this again, but if the Lord directs that it must be so, then it will be so...

Hello Saints! As you know, in February we put together a dream accuracy test designed to identify those individuals who can reliably interpret dreams on a consistent basis in an attempt to rid the forum of individuals who provide interpretations that they claim are of God but in truth are inaccurate. Several individuals took the test but unfortunately none of them passed. We recognize that there are aspects of this testing process that can be improved so as Daphanie02 mentioned in her announcement last month, it's 'back to the drawing board". In the meantime, it has become apparent that we have a member who is not only giving inaccurate interpretations but also is interpreting and providing advice based on ideas that are not Biblical. We have seen a few comments/suggestions come from Josue Tortula that have a New Age tone to them and have asked him on several occasions to make sure that he's basing his statements on Christian beliefs to no avail. Based on a recent intepretation of his that is clearly not Biblical concernng reincarnation, I am led to alert all members that this type of interpretation is not simply that of someone new to Christian dream interpretation and is still learning how to interpret dreams but rather is that of someone who holds false beliefs yet presents them as Christian. Given his responses to posts and PMs that challenge his thinking, it is reasonable to conclude that Josue's case is a case of differing beliefs, i.e., false teaching rather than of receiving bad teaching naively. Thus, I have asked Josue to refrain from making any more interpretations or sharing advice because we can't trust that his input will be Christian based. Please do not receive any prophecy from Josue because he does not speak from God. I would also like to emphasize that it is not our practice to call people out by name. We have typically handled individual situations behind the scenes via PMs successfully. We don't want to create an environment that is discouraging or intimidating to individuals who are new to dream interpretation where they have to fear being called out , we want them to continue to post that which they feel the Lord has given them to share as long as it is made clear that they are new to interpreting. But in this case, the dynamics are a bit different because the individual in question has been defiant in receiving instruction by the adminstrators AND because the infringement goes against the whole basis for the site's existence which has the real potential to do harm spiritually to anyone here who receives an interpretation from him. That can't be allowed to happen otherwise we are as irresponsible to God (if not more) by permitting false prophecy to take place on the site. In the meantime, I would like to ask everyone to keep Josue in their prayers so that the scales be removed from his eyes and he is able to see Truth. Also, once again please remember always to test the spirits - we don't always know who is a prophet and who is not a prophet except by their fruit. Only over time will it become apparent as it is in this case. Thanks and may God richly bless you.
