Right, I'm up, my neck ls better, so I'm offski. Dave, I'll go via Melton Mowbray so if you want to meet I'd suggest the stretch of road after the island near Oakham along the A606, just before Rutland Water. If you're not bothered no probs, I'll hang around a few minutes then go. you can always catch me at the meet. Peterborough services on the A1.

I think you'll find the whole country is fubar'ed http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/oct/23/four-charged-italian-joele-loetta-murder Sorry Garry, I'm only joking mate. To be honest it is getting worse in certain areas. The island I live on is getting more houses and less jobs. They are even knocking our workshops down in just over a year. More unemployed. And crime goes up Back on topic I think the idiots riding in shorts should see this post.

Where to start, Bridgestone not testing so tyres not lasting race distance , lap 10 must pit for a two bike race fiasco, Pedrosa coming in early and jamming all on for the pit lane speed limit then getting a penelty position place drop, Marquez not coming in and getting black flagged, Lorenzo nearly wiping out the pit mechanic on the bike change-over and Marquez and Lorenzo nearly colliding as Marquez exited the pit lane and Lorenzo came down the start/finish straight bloody mental , someone at race control needs a good slap , and Rossi thinking he is second......no third.......no second......no third! anyone cos I am

firstly hi everyone im back new laptop so I can get on here now. seeing as my bike might be sold tomorrow ive been offered top top money for it if his bike sells today so not definite, I thought I need a decent ride on it. started off fine and then a mate on a cbf125 trailing behind crashed, its funny now. basically me and a friend filtered, and went infront of a caravan and their was railing on an island coming up, reading the road you would have though he would have gone behind it, however he didn't and went straight into a bollard that flexes and mounded a railing. just fairing damamge and a bruised ego, so hes ok, but oh dear! and then he broke the zip on his jacket and then fell over the chairs in the café. must be on of those days. makes a change not to be me. also got a couple of cheeky pics of the bike and some videos here the pics for now anyhow next bike im thinking cb1000r Honda the naked ones, what are people thoughts on these? I love my bike but it is a killer on comfort and I prefer one wheel rather then speed so suits my rididng style more

Found a wifi signal so just checking in. 33 degrees and not a cloud to be seen. Just had a beer sat at the pool and thinking about another. Decisions decisions. We're off to Fethiye tomorrow for the market and then look into doing some excursions, maybe a boat trip to Rhodes. Anyhow I'll raise a glass for you all and keep in touch when I find a signal.

Always been a keen fisherman, coarse mainly until 1987-89 spent 2 years working on Ascension Island and caught loads of Tuna, Wahoo, Dorado and lost 2 Sail Fish one day Back in the UK took up trout fishing mainly at Rutland Water and got in the papers a few times with big rainbows and browns. Took up carp fishing and had over 50 twenties then a thirty and packed it up. That was 7 years ago when i bought the bike so thats it for me now. I would like to add that i have had two car accidents whilst being distracted by nice looking lakes rather than tastey birds! Is there something wrong with me?

RETIREMENT BONUS The Royal Navy found they had too many officers and decided to offer an early retirement bonus. They promised any officer who volunteered for Retirement a bonus of £1,000 for every inch measured in a straight line between any two points in his body. The officer got to choose what those two points would be. The first officer who accepted asked that he be measured from the top of his head to the tip of his toes. He was measured at six feet and walked out with a bonus of £72,000... The second officer who accepted was a little smarter and asked to be measured from the tip of his outstretched hands to his toes. He walked Out with £96,000. The third one was a non-commissioned officer, a grizzly old Chief Stoker who, when asked where he would like to be measured replied, 'From the tip of my dick to my testicles.' It was suggested by the pension man that he might want to reconsider, explaining about the nice big cheques the previous two Officers had received. But the old Chief insisted and they decided to go along with him providing the measure was taken by a Medical Officer. The Medical Officer arrived and instructed the Chief to drop 'em,' which he did. The Medical Officer placed the tape measure on the tip of the Chief's dick and began to work back. Dear Lord!' he suddenly exclaimed, 'Where are your testicles?' The Old Chief calmly replied, ' The Falkland Islands'.

Three guys jumped out opened the side door picked up Jasons bike and put it in the van and drove off out through the Long Lane exit, less than 60 seconds. More later when we're trying to get the Reg No. and make/model now...

Thats why they are known as the Isle of Man Steam Racket Company. I look at it slightly differently. For the cost of a ferry and accommodation you get 4 to 5 days racing and practice Unlimited access to the pits and teams Various organised days like Peel and Ramsey Sprint Jurby post TT races if youre there on the Saturday Promenade entertainment each night plus fireworks Various bike meets for owners The Islands attractions and scenery Pro rata its probably cheaper than a day at a MotoGP or WSB round Oh and Bushys beer tent See you there Dave and Mel

Hi peops and yes i expect this will allow many of you to take the pxxs out of me, but having booked the ferry for the TT next year I am now wondering if we would be better going in the car rather than the bike - what does anyone else think - but first listen to my reasons please 1. i have only been on the b king once and it was ok but its a long way to heysham 2. we are going for 11 nights not 8 like originally planned - I know Daves top box is big but its not that big for 11 days worth of luggage - shoes, jeans, spare jeans, jumper, coat, t-shirts etc - (and yes I am happy to take the bare essentials and wear things more than once before anyone starts ) 3. wot if its raining - really raining - i dont mind getting wet but want to be safe. Has anyone else gone in the car before? what do you think an alternative or will we feel really stupid and be the only people on the island not on a motorbike still excited that we are going though
