Thanks. Yes, there are still a couple more things I want to get, but I'm going to wait and get them after Christmas. My husband always gets aftershave balsam from me, but since there are no places here to get them, I will wait. Then he will get it for New Years. This year, Christmas between us has been easy. I am giving him concert tickets for March 2011 and he's giving me tickets for September 2010. That's been the easiest part of the holiday.

Good morning everyone. Today, the snow is starting to thaw, and we are just going to hang around the house. We did the shopping thing yesterday and it was chaos. Now, we are simply going to stay home and let the time pass slowly. On Friday (Christmas day), we will drive north to spend the remainder of the holiday with my husband's parents...that is if some chaotic change doesn't happen that wrecks havoc on our plans. Up to now, things have changed on an hourly basis, so I'm not counting on too terribly much.

I'll just say that prior to coming to this community, I had sworn myself off of forums. I had found more than my share of fair weathered friends, backstabbers, and the like. I had opted to not sign up anywhere. Then I found this site, and decided to go ahead and sign in. I'm glad I did. I have enjoyed every moment I have been here. The members are kind, the staff is helpful, and the contests are by far the best. There is no place like PSFC anywhere, It's the most genuine place I have ever seen. Merry Christmas everyone!

There are items from both years that I like, but I can't really decide which is better. This year's stuff is more artistically intricate, thus showing the quality, but it seems like the same artists are designing everything, becasue it has a typical quality, whereas last year's items seemed more fun. I like some of this year's stuff, but the Christmassy feel is, in some cases not there. Does that make sense?

My husband and I actually went to see those bridges when we were in Iowa about four years ago. (We had gone there to see my grandfather.) Haven't really watched the movie since, but probably should. The movies that make me cry are the Winnie the Pooh films. I am a sap, but I love the movies, and the plot's really touch me. The other film that I cried during was 'A.I.'. I was not a big fan fo the movie, but it was so sad.

Thank you, Myladyyawo. It does seem crazy, and now I am making a grocery list, because for some odd reason, I think that my in-laws are rather short sighted about this. The stores here will be closed on Friday-Sunday, and there will be no way to buy food...so we're doing the movable feast and bringing the works. At least we won't be strapped for space.

My holiday is turning into a comedy of errors. I wrote about it in the Agony Aunt section. Our plans seem to be changing on an hourly basis. I will be home until Christmas day, when we get on the road to the North Sea, That's the plan now...but that will probably change again. I have reached the conclusion that nothing is carved in stone, at least not as far as this holiday is concerned.

Well, it's official, this Christmas is turning out to be anything but wonderful. First, we were supposed to go to the North Sea Coast, then Berlin, and now we're back to the North Sea. Thankfully the weather didn't play...because now my in laws want to go home on the 25th. This is just getting to be too complicating to be real. Every day we have a new plan, and every day, I am inching closer and closer to ripping my hair out and screaming like a lunatic. This is not the holiday that I was excited about, it's turning into a comedy of errors. Now, instead of being cozy on Christmas day, we are going to be on the bloody road driving 650 kilometers. I am starting to seriously resent the whole thing and wish that we could just stay home. I deal well with change, but this is beyond nuts.

Now we have to see how the traffic is between Frankfurt and Berlin. Things have iced over...so we may have to wait and leave on Wednesday. It's sad when the weather refuses to cooperate, but the snow is sure lovely. I'm still in orbit about Tiddly Winks winning though. I absolutely cannot believe it.

This new stuff will look great in my Wonka room. I am really excited about it. The only thing that I am disappointed about was the fact that we didn't get any freebies out of the trees. Otherwise,. lots of beautiful Christmassy stuff. Tomorrow I am leaving town for ten days. We are going to surprise my in laws in Berlin. I am very excited about plaiyng Santa Claus for them.

With special thanks to Lea75, I was able to get my song submitted. Here's all the information about it. We did not do a video because of time, and I am clueless with it. So, it's just the song. It's an original song and I hope you enjoy listening to it. Pet's Name: Tiddly Winks Song title: Pet Society Lyrics by: Yvette Jessen (Tiddly Winks) Music by: Andy Glandt Sung by: Yvette Jessen 1…With a smile out I go Through the town it will show Friends wave their good cheer But when I bump a tree Gold coins just for me To buy apples and cheese, In Pet Society. 2…I start laughing out loud In front of the crowd I tripped on a peel. It seems so unreal, I finished last place In the finalist race, In Pet Society. Ref: My good friends are nearby They stop by to say ‘hi’. We laugh and we play I wish they would stay But they want to shop For a mystery box, In Pet Society. Solo (Ref.) 3…What tomorrow may bring A song for us to sing Or a new dress to try We’ll see by and by Although things may change, Love will remain In Pet Society. Ref: My good friends are nearby They stop by to say ‘hi’ We laugh and we play I wish they would stay But they want to shop For a mystery box, In Pet Society. My good friends are nearby They stop by to say ‘hi’ We laugh and we play We’ll see by and by Although things may change, Love will remain. In Pet Society.
