Tiddly Winks

I like both games for different reasons, but I am partial to PS because I love my Tiddly Winks so much. But Layla Jane is growing on me a little too. Especially when she does this:

awww man, and I never got more than half of them. Oh well. the only thing I really wanted was the santa mayor picture, but maybe I can find something to trade later. Oh well. Next comes Valentine's day. Time to get those Valentine's Teddy bears out.

The only time I remember them being so high was when they were put in the luxury shop. THe cherub doll and the dragon were the ones that come to mind and they were from last February thereabouts.

We drove 620 KM through Germany on Saturday, and when we got to our town, there was no snow on the ground. When we woke up Sunday morning, it had snowed like crazy. The snow is still on the ground, and thankfully my husband works around the corner from where we live, so he doesn't have to drive in it.

I am listening to Gene Wilder sing "Pure Imagination" from 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory'. I absolutely adore this song...it's one of my all time favorites.

Nice to see you back in the fray, Mr. Mayor. Sales are always hard for me to resist too. I love to shop, but lucky for me, I live in a town that doesn't have the best possibilities for shopping...so I save money.

Mine are simple. 1. not to stress about the idiotic behavior of others (long story with that, that bears not repeating) 2. record my CD, which means write a ton of original songs to go with the Pet Society song I recorded last year. (You can hear that in the Pet Factor thread) That's about it.

I have resolved myself to stop worrying about stupid things or blaming myself for things I have absolutely no control over. I had spent many sleepless nights stressing about this, and so now I am going to stop. When I start doing this, I will remind myself of 'divine order' and the power of the universe. That is, what I put into it is what I get back, so I am going to focus on the positive. The other things I resolve to do this year are: 1. record at least one song for my CD project 2. stop talking about becoming a Unity Minister and start doing something about it. That is take some correspondence courses through the Unity Institute.

Today, I have to finish the laundry and do the ironing. I know fun to the max, but that's the schedule today. We're back to real life, an dso I have a ton of work to do. I make the most of it, a little music to guide me is always good.

Today I watched Enchanted again, really like that movie.

I like egg breaker on Facebook. It's probably the only other game besides PS and Petville that I play actively.

Wait and see, there are bound to be some more budding musicians around here. I can't be the only one. Thanks for the comments on the song though, and yes, that is actually me singing.

First Gaiamaiden, thank you for removing the message, it was good that I was gone and didn't see it. I appreciate you looking out for me in that regard. To update everyone, Christmas was, although stressful, it was lovely. I know how Santa Claus must feel when we showed up laden down with gifts, food and teddy bears. My in-laws were overjoyed when we arrived, and it felt so good to have done something for them that would lighten Papa's mood and bring joy to him as well. We returned home today, and while I am glad to be back home, I am grateful to know that it wasn't just about the holidays, but it was the fact that we did something that we can really feel good about. Maybe it will give Papa the strength he needs to overcome. His next operation will be on the sixth. We are optimistic that he will come through with flying colors. But the continued prayerful support does help immensely. Blessings to all for a happy and prosperous 2010.

Happy New Year everyone. I just got home and am exhausted. I will post more tomorrow or Monday. But, I wanted to let you all know that I got back from the North Sea coast and am totally famished.

We are leaving in about an hour to drive to the North Sea Coast. I will be internetless for the week, so this will be my signing off until next Saturday (Jan 2). I like some of the stuff they added, but some of it is stupid. I tried to get some of the new items, and no luck. Blah, humbug to the MBs. I'm almost out of coins, and I will miss next weeks visits because I'll be away. : Oh well, at least I got my Christmas globe.
